Communities of Innovation has also took its place among our translated publications. We have found it valuable to translate this book into Turkish as it describes the growing role and functioning of communities in society and innovation processes and how organizations can benefit from communities, and also because it demonstrates the active role of communities through examples of communities around the world challenging the traditional view that innovation occurs predominantly in company departments, in an environment where the need for a collaborative approach in innovation processes is increasingly emphasized.
