TTGV took the coordination responsibility for the allocation 26,1M US Dollar fund, dedicated to Turkey with two agreements signed in 1994 and 1995, in accordance with the protocol objectives. In this scope, activities realized by TTGV are as follows,
- Studies for the identification of technology, ODS intermediate and final product used via conducting users of ODS
- Organizing seminar and informing especially SME’s about conditions related to get out of use of ODS’s, technological options and possible supports
- Preparation of demonstration projects in order to display the options for ODS removal
- Preparation of alteration projects, submission of them to World Bank and providing support
- Management and monitoring of approved projects
Within the project, TTGV provides 25,5 Million US Dollar support in total to 171 companies under 32 country projects. With the supported projects up to today, in Turkey first priority ODS consumption has removed except necessary areas.
