Purpose
It has been aimed that with the Renewable Energy Support Programme support for suitable conditions be provided for hedge projects related to the production of energy from renewable energy sources, such as wind, sun, biomass, biogas and geothermal, as well as for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Possible Project Subjects
- Electricity production from renewable energy sources (supply to grid and/or usage in the industry)
- Renewable energy production and storage
- Wind power plants
- Productions of biogas and electricity (+ heat) from organic wastes
- Photovoltaic (PV) systems
- Geothermal power plants
- Hybrid systems
- Solar cooling technologies, storage of agricultural products and food industry products
- Underground strorage of thermal energy and the use of geothermal heat
Priorities
- Use of local technology and equipment
- Applications of innovative and/or advanced technology (material, electronics, software, etc.).
- Direct use of generated energy in the industry

Note: Projects receiving other financial assistance throgh grants and loans may still benefit from the TTGV Environmental Support Programme.
