26-28 October 2010 – “International Sustainable Water and Wastewater Management Symposium - USAYS”
“International Sustainable Water and Wastewater Management Symposium” will be realized on 26-28 October 2010 at Konya Dedeman Otel by the contribution of Konya Municipality, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Selcuk University, TUBITAK, TEMA Foundation and WWF Turkey.
“Adaptation to Climate Change in Industry: Pilot Projects for Water Savings through Eco-efficiency Approach” study prepared by TTGV and Prof. Dr. Göksel N. Demirer from Middle East Technical University will be presented in this symposium.

19 October 2010 – “Seminar on Energy Efficiency Implementations in Buildings and Industry”
Seminar was realized by the contribution of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, KOSGEB Kayseri and EVD Energy Management Company on 19 October 2010. Main issues emphasized in the scope of this seminar were:
• Energy efficiency and example implementations
• Legislative framework on energy efficiency
• Energy efficiency supports and financing (by Merve Böğürcü from TTGV)
• Energy Label
Information regarding TTGV supports for environmental implementations including energy efficiency were shared with the participants.
18-29 October 2010 – “2. National Solid Waste Management Congress – UKAY 2010”
UKAY 2010 was realized by the participations of scientists, public institutions, private sector non-governmental organizations, students and individuals related with the solid waste management issues. On 19th of October, TTGV expert Emrah Alkaya presented the study called “Conversion of fiber cotton by-products/scraps into value added products: Current applications and technological developments”.

28 September – 1 October 2010 – “TIREC 2010 – Turkey International Renewable Energy Congress”
“TIREC 2010- Turkey 2010 International Renewable Energy Congress” was a high level congress in which Turkish and international renewable energy experts came together in order to discuss the new ideas and business opportunities.
TTGV has participated to TIREC 2010 with a presentation called “Recent and Priority Technology Areas in Bioenergy and Supports” in “Bioenergy and Carbon Markets Conference - Production and Conversion Technology Showcase” session.
30 September 2010 – “Architecture and Technology in the Context of Sustainability”
In the context of BUILdIST 2010, activities were organized in sustainability, architecture, design, technology and innovation concepts during 3 days.
TTGV Environmental Projects Coordinator Ferda Ulutaş participated to “Architecture and Technology in the Context of Sustainability” panel and made a presentation called “Sustainability, Eco-innovation and Buildings”
29 September 2010 – “Energy Efficiency in Industries”
In the “Energy Efficiency in Industries” panel organized by Gebze Plastic Manufacturers Organized Industrial Zone (GEPOSB), a presentation called “Environmental and Energy Supports of TTGV” was done.
8 July 2010 – TRT Radio-1 Programme: “Science and technology World”
In “Science and Technology World programme broadcasted on every Thursday between 19:30-20:00, “Removal of Ozone Depleting Substances Project” conducted between 1994-2007 by TTGV was explained by Environmental Projects Group Coordinator Ferda Ulutaş.
22 June 2010 – “Teknotrend: Energy Efficiency and Turkish Industry”
In the activities organized in the context of SME Week, a seminar called “Teknotrend: Energy Efficiency and Turkish Industry” was realized by Istanbul Chamber of Industry. In this seminar a presentation called “TTGV Environmental and Energy Supports” was realized by TTGV.
