With the partnership of TTGV and Global Environmental Fund (GEF-SGP) “NGO Capacity Development, Project Development, Project Monitoring, Project Evaluation in the focus area of Climate Change Management” was between 2005-2006. In order to improve the quality of the projects developed by NGO’s in the focus area of climate change and to contribute to the improvement of the capacities of the communities below listed activities have been realized.
Preliminary Studies and Determination /Development of Country Strategy
In the preliminary studies, document relevant with the GEF-SGP Turkey strategy was updated and GEF-SGP Climate Change Focus Area Country strategy was prepared.
Activities for NGOs
In the scope of these activities NGOs and institution that are related with subject were identified In the meetings realized with participation of NGOs, public, private sector and university representatives climate change focus point and GEF-SGP supports were presented.
Publications
2 books were prepared including SGP pilot projects, climate change and CO2 emission calculation.
