Undersecretariat of Treasury

Born in 1964, Feridun Bilgin received his undergraduate degree from Istanbul Technical University from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics as an Electrical Engineer.  He then went on to receive his Master’s degree in 1987 from Yıldız Technical University in Electrical Engineering.  Between the years of 1986 and 1992 he served in a variety of positions at the State Planning Organization such as Deputy Expert, Expert and Group Chair.  He worked as Branch Manager at the Undersecretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade, the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade and the Directorate General of Incentives and investments at the Undersecretariat of Treasury between the years of 1992 and 1999.

 He worked at the Turkish Embassy in Skopje as an Economic Advisor from 1996 to 1999 and at the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury General Directorate of Incentives and Investments as an Expert and Branch Manager.

He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Turk Telecom A.Ş in 2002 through 2004.  Mr. Bilgin, who had worked at the General Directorate of the Undersecretariat of Treasury General Directorate of Incentives and Investments since October 2003 continued his work as a Deputy Undersecretariat as of July 2010.
