Graduated from Ankara Science High School, received his BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering (Computer and Control Option) from Middle East Technical University in Ankara Turkey. Diplomafrom Philips International Institue in Eindhoven Holland. Held technical and administrative responsibilities at Bimsa and Info ın Turkey and Dornier System GmBh in Germany. Worked as Assistant General Manager at NCR Turkey and as General Manager at Sun Microsistemler Turkey.
During the same period provided consultancy to such major groups as Koç, Sabancı, Eczacıbaşı. Since 1995 served as a Member of Executive Commitee of Vestel responsible from Strategic Plannig, and Investor Relations, currently a board member..
Provided consultancy to UNDP in Vietnam to study development of electronic industry. Founding and board member of Turkish Informatics Society and Turkish Unix Users Group. Certificated consultant for Microsoft Solution Development Discipline. He has the 2005 reward of lifelong service from TÜBİSAD.
