Eskisehir Chamber of Industry
Mr. Özaydemir was born in Eskişehir in 1943. He completed Eskişehi Private Highschool in 1962. During his highschool education he was an AFS exchange student and stayed in the USA from 1960 to 1961. He began his higher education at Robert College, which later became Bosphorous University, and he finished it and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. He worked as an Engineer and as Chief Engineer at the construction sites of Ereğli Iron and Steel and the Pektim Refineries in Yarimca and Aliağa for various periods of time. Having worked in industry since 1974, Mr. Özaydemir is currently the Board Chairman of 13 companies presenting activities predominantly on the subjects of Household Appliances sub-industry and brick and tile.
In 1980, Mr. Savaş M. Özaydemir was selected to be a member of the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry Congress. He became a member of the Board of Directors of the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry in 1984. He has been the President of the Chamber ever since 1989. In addition, he is the Board Chairman of the Chamber associates the Eskişehir Industrial Energy Autoproduction Industry and Trade Group Inc., Eskişehir Informatics Communication Industry and Trade Inc. and the Anadolu Technology Research Park Commerce and Industry Inc.
